When child development researchers found that grouping children of a variety of ages fosters natural, family-style learning, we created our Mixed-age Class. In this class, your preschooler interacts with peers of different ages and participates at their own level in singing, moving, listening, observing, or exploring musical instruments. Younger children enjoy watching and imitating older ones; older children learn by leading younger ones; and adults are happy because their children can go to class together. Children can come to class with any or all of their caregivers—parents, grandparents, nannies—for a community-music experience all around.
